As one of the big names at his family’s gym, Legends, MMA star Rory Kavanagh is used to being in the spotlight—until a gruesome leg injury knocks him out of the cage. Rory is left feeling sidelined in more ways than one, battling the inner demons that come with losing the one shot at his dreams. Then Clare walks into his life and gives him a new dream: winning her heart. There aren’t many new faces in Woodlawn these days, but this tough, beautiful stranger makes Rory want to get his life back into fighting shape.

Clare Ivers doesn’t think she’ll be able to tell anyone what really brought her to the close-knit Bronx neighborhood where she just started bartending. But her life’s on pause and her past is catching up fast, try as she might to move on—with new friends, steady work, and a chiseled alpha male trying to get her attention. Even though Rory’s more than a little intense, she can’t deny that her heart beats faster when he looks at her with those soulful silver eyes. Clare thought she was done with love, but Rory might just be man enough to show her she thought wrong.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an excerpt from another Loveswept title.

My Review

*ARC provided for an Honest Review

The amount of Alpha male this book threw in front of me was a bit overwhelming. I really enjoyed reading the book. I was really entertained with Clare’s suspicious past and Rory’s self destruction and their journey to the road of happiness and finding someone to depend on and love with all the scars they have.

I am also impressed with the strength of this books supporting characters. And the fact that this is also family centered is what keeps me on the edge of waiting for the next book. I am really curious about Clare’s employer though. That was the only thing that was bothering me when I got to the end of the book. I really wanted to know the deepest history the man has and well, why he’s an ass. Maybe it was in the book and I just missed the meaning behind the words they use to describe him but, he is quiet interesting. Also, as for Rory being self destructive, it was the main reason why I didn’t like him the first parts of the book. Yeah he was acting all caveman towards Clare but I always thought “meh. can’t wait for him to actually develop himself” and then he progressed and I am happy with the end results.

My first book from the author, Sarah Robinson, and I was really satisfied. 4 stars!

My Review

*ARC Provided for and Honest Review*

I’ll let you guys in on a secret, Cash and Lily’s story is my main favorite in all the books from the Until Series. And now, to finally have Jax, their boy, to be a man of his own and to find his own love, I was overly excited.

Jax and Ellie’s story is one of those things that would truly make you see the different sides and shades of people. This book made me encounter so much emotions like; Love for family at the same time hating them, loving Jax and then hating Ellie a little bit. Being angry at what’s happening with the scenes in the book and then feeling a little bit scared of what was going to happen before I finally get to the happy ending. To say that this book gripped me till it’s last page is an understatement.

I have read every book of the Until series and I have learned to embrace the way Aurora writes her books. Like, literally. Embrace. Them. I was really excited to receive this advance readers copy and I dig right into it. I’d say the wait for this book is totally worth it. I mean, thinking about the time I read July’s book and then found out that this book was releasing not until a few months I think I just lost hope but to finally read it and get to the end of it is the satisfaction that would never compare to anything.

Very well written, great twists and absolutely lovable characters. 4 stars for this fine ass book. Why not 5? Lets just say that I needed more than what I expected to happen. 🙂

My Review

I am just going to lay this all out in the open.

I actually thought that the storyline was good, the characters were great individually and every description was alright. What the problem really was is that I think I missed out on the characters chemistry. Since the first time something happened between Paris and Cooper I did not feel the explosion at all. I mean, I did feel a little spark but it was not enough to pique my interest.

I eventually finished the book and ended up thinking that if I had just felt something for the characters it would’ve been a great read. 3.5 stars!

Hotshot sports editor Cole Sharpe has been freelancing for Oxford for years, so when he hears about a staff position opening up, he figures he’s got the inside track. Then his boss drops a bombshell: Cole has competition. Female competition, in the form of a fresh-faced tomboy who can hang with the dudes—and write circles around them, too. Cole usually likes his women flirty and curvy, but he takes a special interest in his skinny, sassy rival, if only to keep an eye on her. And soon, he can’t take his eyes off her.

Penelope Pope knows all too well that she comes off as just one of the guys. Since she’s learned that wanting more usually leads to disappointment, Penelope’s resigned to sitting on the sidelines when it comes to love. So why does Cole make her want to get back in the game? The man is as arrogant as he is handsome. He probably sees her as nothing more than a barrier to his dream job. But when an unexpected kiss turns into a night of irresistible passion, Penelope has to figure out whether they’re just fooling around—or starting something real.

My Review

This is not my first book from the Author, I must say that I loved reading her previous books and this one in particular did not disappoint. Intense rivalry from two intense and hard working people. And you know what caught my eye? The fact that this book was unexpectedly explosive.

I was hooked with the description and I drooled over the Cover of the book. Knowing that this is another book from an Author I knew would write books that I will absolutely fell in love with is like a bonus on a weekday. This started out as sweet and melting then it was mixed with humor and an in office antics. Seriously, I was like in a living dream with this one, really romantic and filled with lust/love relationship.

Lauren, you have hooked me once again and I’m not even sorry. I had a hard time feeling the characters though. I don’t know if its just me and my divided attention at the beginning or if it was really hard to believe that the 2 casts were really going to click. But eventually they worked out for me and I’ve got zero problem with the storyline. So, 4 stars for that!

Or will she find some walls are just Indestructible…

My Review

I’m just going to hash things out.

Third book from the series and it still makes me squeel in delight. Avery and Kade’s story is one mind fuck. Why? Because I couldn’t even understand or see signs that this is what Avery would do. I loved the book and I was happy I got an ARC. A nurturer girl and a broken guy couldn’t be a more perfect match.

I just expected Avery will take things a little more to heart. I thought she was one of those characters who is really sweet and caring but when you hurt them, their world crumble and then they’d get in to a realization that they will move on and forget the guy. And that didn’t happen. Yeah she did feel sad of how things went for the both of them after their night but, I find that she let Kade off that easily. I mean, I really really wanted Kade to grovel and prove he is worthy of Avery cause he was so into a self blame party that I want him to really realize stuff.

Anyway, everything went smoothly and I could not even explain what the ending did to me. It was totally my favorite part. 4 stars for this!

Violet Fuller has been through a lot in her short life.
After being viciously attacked, she’s hidden herself away from the world for the past five years, fearing everyone and everything. That’s until the day she finally gathers the courage to go outside.
Violet decides to take a job at her brother Ash’s new gym, Pulse, to reacquaint herself with the male dominated world of MMA. She used to be her brother’s biggest supporter, going to all his matches and cheering him on. There’s no one he trusts more to help him run the admin side of his new business, but when Violet walks through the door for the first time, she sees someone she wasn’t expecting.
Handsome, AUFC fighter, Lincoln Hayes.
The same Lincoln Hayes that she’s had a crush on since she was sixteen.
All muscled, disciplined, hot as hell, six-foot two of him. He’s definitely not a boy anymore.
Things are about to become more difficult than Violet had hoped. So much for easing back into reality.
And Lincoln? He’s only got one thing on his mind.
How do you win over a woman who is afraid of everything?
You fight.

My Review

That was a one depressing yet sweet read. From being the weak adult to over coming her fears, Violet Fuller has inspired me all through out this book. Though there were times when I think that she is taking it a bit too much and is over thinking everything I still think she’s quiet a brave girl to try and do not just what makes the people around her proud but also to make herself feel strong, proud and happy.

I thought that Lincoln is just the perfect guy for V. He’s understanding, though that’s a given since he knows what happened to her but still, I think he’d be the same gentleman he is with her if he didn’t know. He’s obviously very protective though at times he’s a bit over the top and he is obviously in love with her. Like, really in love with her and I love that this book shows how he fucks up. It’s the very real thing about the book. Men fucks up and Lincoln sure did. Even before this book progressed he’s already fucking and I actually sympathized with V and thought how naïve she was.

The book was very well done for me. The story line felt good and the ending was satisfactory. I just thought the plot could’ve improved a little bit cause its about the same twists as some of the books I’ve read. Maybe a better reconciliation? A little groveling then a cheesy ending would’ve marked it for me. But, great job for Amity and this 4 stars is very much deserved.

My Review

Note: A Copy Was Given for an HONEST REVIEW.

I thought this was going to be a BDSM kind of romance but I was totally blown away by how sweet and clingy this book is. I think I have found the one CEO who doesn’t get into a Very kinky sex but has hot sexy because that’s just how he is.

I felt high after reading the synopsis. Wealthy men is like one of my top 5 favorites and this one definitely did not disappoint. It was a good read. Expectedly satisfying and a bit predictable but their relationship is one classic, sweet as sugar love.

What I really really like thought is that the characters are so down to earth even if Eve is too good to be true sometimes she is just one amazing heroine. And Grant, I was not expecting him. I really thought he was going to be the hard AF alpha male but no, He is a Caveman but he is definitely a softy. Sometimes I wonder if he really was meant to have a family like the one he has. He doesn’t even have a single parent that is kind.

4 Billion stars for this and for Eve for staying strong and fighting to get divorced! Something’s are just worth out happiness!

Sometimes engagement rings can get lost and then found. Sometimes people can too. All it takes is a heavy-duty dose of karma and the magic of Manhattan to make it all come together.

Leah is a financially destitute new age hippy. James is a wealthy surgeon with a trust fund. She’s awkward, he’s poised. She’s completely crazy, he’s way too sane. People might say they have nothing in common, but they’d be wrong. They both live in Manhattan, they both have no idea how to change a baby diaper, and they’re both lost … until they find one another.

Love in New York: Book 1 (Lost and Found)
Love in New York: Book 2 (Cabin Fever)
Love in New York: Book 3 (Mister Fixit)

About this series: I’d never been to New York City before, but I knew I would love it and wanted to write a story that was set in the most exciting city in the world. So I hopped on a plane with my friend Susan and spent 5 whirlwind days there, soaking up the culture, seeing the sights and nailing down the scenes that would eventually end up in this series. Those of you familiar with New York City know what I’m talking about when I say you just can’t beat Russ and Daughters’ bagels, Central Park, Times Square, Brooklyn, and Yonnah Schimmels’ knishes.

My Review

The enjoyment that this book gave me was beyond what I was expecting. The humor of this book was past funny. I actually laughed at some parts of the book and that isn’t the best part yet. There were more random things that I find funny but it was not meant to be funny. I don’t even know, maybe I was really hyped while I was reading.

The waiting was a bit rough for me thought. I took quiet sometime for the characters to really consider things and get together. But, those unseen twists got me on my feet plus the ending was such a relief that I was actually satisfied when the book ended.

This is not my first book from Elle but honestly, I was contemplating reading this book to its end because I thought it is going to be slightly boring by the looks of the first chapters but, I’m glad I did and I’m seriously hyped with this book. 4 STARS!!

Birmingham Rebels offensive linemen Beau Perez and Cass Zielinski are inseparable, on and off the field. Cass, the captain with the cowboy swagger, is a loose cannon. Beau, the veteran tight end, is cool under pressure. And ever since they were caught on tape in a steamy threesome, their exploits have fueled more than a few tabloid headlines—and naughty fantasies.

Marian Treadwell knows all about the video. And now that she’s the Rebels’ new assistant offensive coach, she can’t look at Beau and Cass without picturing their hard, naked bodies—with her pressed in between. Marian would like nothing more than to indulge those impulses, but she knows better than to get too close to her players, a bunch of adrenaline-fueled alpha males who don’t always follow the rules.

Just the thought of sharing the gorgeous yet guarded Marian drives Cass wild. At first, Beau isn’t sure she’s right for them . . . and lately, all he desires is a little alone time with Cass to explore their new intimacy. But it’s only a matter of time before Cass breaks through both of their defenses. Because when seduction is the game plan, he always plays to win.

Broken Play is intended for mature audiences.

My Review

NOTE: This ARC was given in exchange for an honest review.

I am going to confess that I definitely did not expect this book to be a threesome. I don’t know how I missed that and why but I just did. When I wanted this book I thought this was about Beau and Marian but I was dead wrong. All the thoughts I had until the end of the book was wrong and that’s a good sign. Any book I could not predict is a great book.

However, relationship wise, I just don’t think it is going to last. I’m all about the happy ever after and all those stuff, I want the happy ending so much that I don’t think this characters will work out forever. But whatever, this is a book and the most important thing that happens in a great book happened. Hot sexual interaction and intense chemistry happened and it really got me entertained till the end.

The characters were intense. Even Marian was intense and unexpected. The other two was all good and hot though. If you’d ask me, I think they are both gay. Which obviously means, they can totally survive without Marian and I would have loved that. I would have considered that the happiest ending but in the end the threesome won and that’s okay at least I get the front row of the sex part. But now that I think about it, there was a lot of kinky hot sex and that’s why the book has a plus one for me. I actually enjoyed reading the trio sex but I’m really not in to it.

I don’t think I’ve read any of Samantha Kane’s books before but just basing on this one I am sure she’s done very well with the other books. This book has a really broad message that it kept my mind open to possibilities that these kinds of things existed. Granted that this 4 stars is pushing it, I think the book was worth even more if I was just really into all these stuff.

My Review

Note: This ARC was given for an Honest Review.
Can I just say that I thought the first book was pretty intense while this one came on pretty sweet to me? I could not even measure up the difference of this book from the previous one and its a good kind of different, really.

The first time I read the excerpt and a few parts of the book immediately, my expectation was really low because I was pretty sure Gabe was described in the first book as a guy with ‘a lot’ of weight on his shoulder. I was expecting more of a drama on his side and don’t get me wrong I totally got that but I was not expecting an amount of sweet nothings. These two people who come from different worlds, when they’re put together they are pure bliss but when they’re separated, I could definitely feel the sexual want and need. Especially on Gabe’s part.

Gabe has a controlling parents and this year, for the summer, they are spending quality time near the breeze of the ocean. My first impression of him was that he was a clueless rich kid who obviously has a care in the world but hides behind his façade. I was right. He has a lot to get out off his chest but he just couldn’t do it. Yeah, he tolerates his parents but, his treatment towards them is way past the respect they deserve. I like that he was really honest and that he knows what he’s doing something good for him but, well, you know what they say, boys are idiot. You’ve got to learn how to distinguish a Boy from a Man.

Lucy is like every normal girl. She’s far from fancy and she hasn’t tried to be but, just this one time she made a decision she will because she likes the boy next door. Now, I thought she’d be like every other girl known to be around the block but she isn’t, she’s like a delicate flower but a tough one at the same time. Strong and determined on the outside but even she couldn’t control the turmoil she feels on the inside.

Now Gabe and Lucy were really cute together and they were so sweet but I was expecting for Lucy to be the one to lure Gabe on the wild side but that wasn’t how this book done it and it was even better that I expected. That first meeting after their summer escapade though is one hell of an awkward meet.

I laughed and I loved this book. I like that this book really wasn’t trying too hard and isn’t very rough for the most part and I love that it has every detail I wanted. I am a huge fan of Monica Murphy and I am so so so grateful I was granted to receive this ARC. I have liked most of her books before and I’m liking it even more now. I could not wait what she cooked up for Tristan!
